Wine 101: Class 4: Food and Wine Pairing

The focus of this class will be to introduce the generally accepted guidelines and considerations when pairing food and wine. We will discuss the reasoning behind classic pairings as well as pairings to avoid. After the introduction, participants will be served a four course tasting of small plates with two wines paired with each in order to highlight how certain foods affect how we perceive different wines.

Join us as we celebrate St. Patrick's. Pub crawl begins with Happy Hours from 1pm - 6pm at Gathering Wine, and $12 Jiggs dinner (or $5 with whiskey purchase) at The Gathering from 7pm - 10pm. There will be live entertainment and drink specials all night long, starting at 7pm at Gathering Wine, and featuring Jason Quick.
