Meal Service: An accurate breakdown of your meal selections must be provided to the Catering Office 5 working days prior to the event. Because of the increasing demand for vegetarian alternatives, if your party is over 30 in number, a vegetarian dish must be one of your selections.

Damages: Any damage to The Gathering’s premises or equipment will be charged to the person responsible for the event.

Lost/Found/Storage: The Gathering is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any items left in the restaurant prior to, during or following your function. Please check with the hostess for any lost possessions. All items must be removed from the restaurant after the event.

Billing & Payments: All functions must be paid in full by the end of the event.

Wine Service Fee: NO OUTSIDE Alcohol IS PERMITTED

Bars: There is a set-up charge of $50.00 for a private bar, for groups less than 20. For groups of more than 20 persons, the $50.00 set-up charge will be waived.

Dress Code: Tasteful casual wear is permitted at The Gathering.

Catering: All foods must be purchased from The Gathering and served by our staff. There is a $1.00 per person serving charge for all celebration cakes. Due to Health Department and insurance regulations, remaining food items from a catered function cannot be taken off the premises for consumption. This policy applies to all perishable food, including entrees of guaranteed guests unable to attend.

Guarantee Policy: A preliminary count must be given two weeks prior to the event. The final guest count must be specified no later than five business days prior to the event. We will allow 5% variation over your guaranteed number. If your group exceeds the standard 5%, we will make every effort to accommodate the increase in attendance’; however this cannot be guaranteed. The host is billed the guaranteed number, or number of guests served, whichever is greater.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy: The Gathering requires any event booked with estimated revenue of $3,000 or more, to pay a 50% deposit by cash or check, thirty (30) days prior to the event. Credit cards will not be accepted for deposits. For functions cancelled fewer than 30 days in advance of the scheduled date, the 50% deposit will be kept as the cancellation fee.

*****The Gathering also requires  "off hours groups” a $1,500 room rental fee. This $1500.00 fee is non-refundable, and will be billed in addition to the 50% deposit required 30 days before the event.*****

Functions cancelled 7 days or less in advance will pay 60% of the estimated charges for the event in addition to the deposit.

All food & beverage are subject to a 20% service charge and Ohio State sales tax
