This is a unique wine featuring the Charbono grape, aka Bonarda in Argentina, and originally from France where it is known as Corbeau de Savoie. It is a very Old World style wine with a dark ruby color and fuchsia rim that offers aromas of worn leather, cherry twizzlers, wood spice, and camphor. It is light bodied with sour cherry fruit on the palate and a slight iron tinge on the finish. Very interesting wine from the Napa Valley.
